Seminars during your Voluntary Service

For one year of voluntary service, you are entitled to 25 (if you are under 27) or 12 (if you are over 26 years old) educational days, which are organized in educational seminars. Our educational seminars mostly take place in a fixed group – where you will get to know other volunteers, exchange experiences related to your service, gain valuable insights, and learn useful tips and tricks for your assignment and life in general. You will receive information about the dates of your seminar days along with your contract documents.

The seminars are held in educational centers in Rhineland-Palatinate, and you will be accompanied by your educational advisor and guest instructors. Some individual days may also take place online, using the MS Teams 365 platform. As for the content, you get to participate in the decision-making process and contribute your ideas. This will lead to exciting excursions, diverse workshops, team-building activities, knowledgeable guest speakers, and much more.
