In emergency medical services (EMS), you have a strong medical focus, but you also work directly with people. This means that empathy and spontaneity are particularly important. Requirements for working in EMS include being of legal age, holding a Class B driver's license, and completing and passing a three-month training program to become an emergency medical technician.

• Possibly (depending on the region and duration of your service) responding to emergency calls

In social service, there are diverse job opportunities where teamwork and empathy are crucial for providing good care or service to clients. You will need a Class B driver's license for this role.

• Distributing hot meals or frozen dishes
• Providing transportation for individuals with disabilities and/or older adults
• Handling home emergency calls at the DRK
• Administrative tasks (documentation, copying, ...)
• Assisting with the installation of home emergency call devices
